DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES OF THE TRAVEL AGENCY CIRCLE-KYKLOS TRAVEL

The Travel Agency CIRCLE – KYKLOS TRAVEL is housed on the third and fourth floors of the building at 27 Nikis Street and was founded in 1992. It employs, apart from the 7 member administrative council, 20 employees and a large number of external associates (leaders – escorts, tour guides, communications consultants, consultants for the publication of tour programs, marketing consultants, etc).

On the third floor you can find the departments of ground travel (coaches), domestic excursions (individuals and groups), incoming and conferences.

On the fourth you can find the administration office and the department of international excursions (individuals and groups), airplane and boat tickets, business travel and VIP services, sports events and sales, and the accounting office.

1. The department of ground travel (coaches) run by Konstantinos Kyrkos, 6 coaches (constructed in 2006). It services the road travel of the clients of the office but also of the clients of other offices. One and a half years ago it started to become active in the transfer of clients and visitors to major exhibitions (food and beverage, Mostra Rota, Dorekthesi, Medwood, etc).
2. The department of domestic travel, run by Vasilis Stamatis, services the office’s clients for their travels inside Greece. It has agreements with over one thousand hotels of various categories throughout Greece for special prices. Also it has an agreement, for all of Greece, with the car rental company HERTZ for special prices as well as a direct link to make car reservations online. It handles about 3,000 individuals per year.
3. The incoming department, run by Vasilis Stamatis, is responsible for the exclusive servicing of clients from foreign travel agencies which organize excursions to Greece in their country. It handles, on their behalf, reservations for hotel rooms or other lodgings, ground travel, tour guides, meals at hotels or restaurants, events, car rentals, etc, and all this at the best possible prices.
4. The conferences department, run by ….. and with Katerina Karadonti as supervisor, handles the organization of conferences of all types (medical, professional, for large companies, government), in Greece but also worldwide. Apart from accommodation of participants (hotel rooms or other lodgings, meals, ground travel, tour guides, excursions and booking of various events for escorts), it handles the reservation of halls inside or outside the hotel for the execution of the conference, secretariat services, audio-visual aids, multilingual simultaneous interpretation systems, receptions, multiple theme events, etc.
5. The excursions abroad department, run by Georgios Kalampalikis and with Alexandros Vyzantiades as supervisor, services clients (individuals and groups) who wish to travel abroad with some planed excursion or on a tailor made trip organized according to their wishes. The department organizes excursions worldwide, specializing (throughout Greece) in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain, Portugal). The low prices, the choice of suitable airlines with non-stop flights, the choice of the best hotels in services and centrally located, the travel in recently constructed means of transportation, the significant visits and guided tours, the choice of meals from local but also international cuisine, the care for constant involvement but also entertainment of the client, the choice of the best leader escorts, but , above all, the reliability and consistency that distinguishes us have placed us in the list of the top ten organizers of excursions in Greece, and first in trips to Spain – Portugal. The department also under takes the organization of excursions worldwide for associations, as well as the organization of incentive trips for large companies (pharmaceuticals, insurance companies, banks). It services approximately 10,000 individuals per year.
6. The department for airplane and boat ticketing, run by Georgios Kalampalikis and with Chara Sinos as supervisor, services two types of clients. Those who want a simple airplane or boat ticket to leave or return to the place of their destination, and the clients of the various departments of the office who need, among other services, an airplane or boat ticket. The office has the IATA license to issue airplane tickets. Through the SABRE reservation system it can reserve a seat online with any airline worldwide.
   It can directly issue the ticket, or send it electronically to the airline from where the client can collect it by merely showing his passport. The good relations the department has with most airlines results in preferential treatment of the clients when flights are full. Experience in choosing the best price gives its client the opportunity to travel cheaply.
7. The department of business travel and VIP services, run by Georgios Kalampalikis and with Sophia Skaris as supervisor, handles professional travel of executives of major client companies of the office. The services provided, apart from the basic (airplane ticket, reservations of hotel room or other lodgings) are the following:
